Renting Your Home? You Can Still Have A Pool In Your Backyard

If you are renting your home you are likely limited on what you can do, such as changes you can make both inside and outside. If you would like a pool in the backyard for you and your family to enjoy, you can still have one. Below is some information about this so you can determine if you would like this for your family

Above-Ground Pool

You should consider getting a pool that is above the ground. This type of pool is easily moved to another location, such as if you move. Because of this, your landlord will probably not mind.

There are two types of above-ground pools available. Below is some information about each of these so you can understand more about them

Ring Above-Ground Pools

These pools are inflatable, generally only a few feet tall, and are made of a heavy duty vinyl. An inflatable ring, which is where the pool gets its name, is at the top of the pool. This ring rises up as you fill the pool with water and its job is to give the pool stability. These pools are wider at the bottom than they are at the top to give them even more stability. If you have small children, this pool would work well for them.

How much this pool costs depends on the manufacture you purchase it from. Because of the size, it is less expensive than the other option. These pools are very easy to deflate to move them.

Frame Above-Ground Pool

This pool is more permanent but it can still be moved to another location, such as to a new house. It can usually be taken apart in only a few hours. You can find these pools in a variety of sizes and shapes and they are much larger when compared to the ring pool. Because of this, the pool has a ladder that you have to climb in order to get into the water. The pool is large enough for a group of kids to play a game in along with a few adults.

If you prefer, you can put decking around the pool. You can make this pool look even better by choosing a beautiful patterned liner and/or a wood frame instead of a steel frame.

Talk with a pool installer about these pools. They can help you decide what would work well. They can also help you learn about the maintenance you have to do to keep the pool in good shape, such as keeping out debris and keeping the pool liner clean or ordering pool liner replacements.
